Social 30-1 Diploma Prep Online
Designed around the diploma’s two written component assignments (I: Source Interpretation and II: Position Paper), this prep course will guide students in source analysis and position paper writing.
Led by our experienced and highly regarded teacher Ross Lyttle, students will learn how to:
- Interpret and connect multiple sources (cartoons, graphs, quotes, etc.)—a core requirement of Assignment I
- Develop and defend a clear ideological position using strong evidence in written responses
- Understand how marks are awarded across analysis, argumentation, evidence, and communication
- Recognize patterns in multiple-choice questions based on unseen sources
Focused, practical, and aligned with Alberta Education—students leave with a clear strategy for both written and multiple-choice success.
