Beloved by her students, Kris brings a tremendous amount of expertise to her Biology review. An instructor at National Sport school working with students committed to training in Olympic sports, she knows how motivate and inspire students within restricted time frames. Her reviews from her students always speak of her extensive knowledge of biology and of the diploma exam and her high energy.When not in the classroom she can be found with her 3 young sons in xc skiing, gymnastics and outdoor pursuits. Marina Padovan
Marina Padovan has been teaching Biology at Paul Kane High School in St. Albert for the past 18 years. She has a BSc. in Biology with Specialization in Genetics (her first love) and an After Degree in Secondary Biology Education. Marina has a great sense of humor, and loves to use analogies to explain the most abstract concepts, from nervous impulses to quantum mechanics. She is passionate about the sciences and about teaching, and her enthusiasm quickly extends to her students.When she is not teaching, Marina loves to paint and to spend time outdoors with her husband, her two kids and her dog Otis.
