Social 30-2 Diploma Prep at SAIT

Designed to help students understand, recognize, and plan for the three types of written response quesitons they'll face - this course will help build more confident and proficient social studies thinkers and writers.

Led by our experienced and highly regarded teacher Phil Bruno, students will learn how to:

• Analyze and interpret multiple sources (visuals, quotes, data, etc.) - a core focus of Part A
• Develop and express a clear, supported response using appropriate evidence
• Understand how marks are awarded across understanding, support, and communication
• Recognize patterns in multiple-choice questions based on unseen sources

Focused, practical, and aligned with Alberta Education—students leave with a clear strategy for both written and multiple-choice success.

Location: SAIT - Stan Grad Bldg

Course Schedule (12.5 hours over 2 days):

• Class 1: Sat June 6, 10:00am - 5:00pm
• Class 2: Sun June 7, 9:00am - 2:30pm
