Kevin Weimer

B.A., B.Ed. McGill University, M.Th. University of LondonCalgary Board of Education, P.S.B.G.M. - 25 years or so

With over 15 years experience in Alberta high schools Kevin has implemented and taught both the current -1 and -2 curriculum and the former Pure and Applied curriculum. He has worked extensively with Alberta Education in a variety of capacities, co-authored two course books, contributed to a series of high school mathematics textbooks and wrote the RTD Mathematics 30-2 materials. Working towards understanding while easing the pain and exploring the beauty of mathematics have been hallmarks of his career in the classroom.

Barb Gajdos

BEd, Secondary Mathematics, UofCCalgary Highschool Teacher (25+ years)

Barb has taught Mathematics from grade 7-12 at several schools in Calgary. She has served as an advisor, contributing author, reviewer and field tester for McGraw-Hill Ryerson and their entire line of Mathematics textbooks from grades 8-12. Well versed in the math curriculum, she has worked on several projects ranging from adapted programs to gifted programs to teacher resource material.

Barb currently teaches High School but her experience with the younger grades enables her to break down the high school material into easy to understand concepts. You can expect a unique perspective to this course filled with many tips and tricks to help you finish the course successfully.

Our SAIT classes are held in the architecturally beautiful Stan Grad Building, which has spacious and comfortable classrooms. On campus students can find a Subway, Tim Hortons, and more. Parking is $7.
